Federal Grant Will Facilitate Homeless Veterans’ Transition into the Workforce

WASHINGTON, D.C. - July 2, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) – U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), announced $300,000 awarded to the Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio for its efforts to support homeless veterans in Montgomery County. The competitive grant will be distributed through The Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program (HVRP), authorized by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL).
