COLUMBUS, OH - March 27, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- Today Attorney General Mike DeWine announced he has reached an agreement with AMVETS Department of Ohio, AMVETS Career Center and AMVETS Department of Ohio Service Foundation to protect charitable assets raised by those organizations for unemployed veterans and other veteran’s services. The agreement follows an investigation by the Attorney General that uncovered the misappropriation of millions in charitable funds held by the three AMVETS organizations for the benefit of unemployed veterans, veterans in need of career training, ROTC programs, veterans scholarships, veterans hospitals and homeless veterans. The agreement was filed with the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.

COLUMBUS - March 21, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- The Ohio Housing Finance Agency (OHFA) Board approved more than $11.4 million for affordable housing properties in Dayton and Cincinnati yesterday. The housing funds were approved during the Board's off-site meeting, held at The Commons at Third in Grandview, Ohio. WASHINGTON, D.C. - February 13, 2013 - (RealEstateRama) -- A federal court in Cleveland has barred MAI-designated real estate appraiser Michael Ehrmann and his firm, Jefferson & Lee Appraisals Inc., from preparing property appraisals for federal tax purposes, the Justice Department announced today. Judge Dan Aaron Polster of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio signed the civil injunction order against Ehrmann and Jefferson & Lee Appraisals. The defendants consented to the injunction without admitting the allegations against them.
