Brown Applauds Obama Housing Plan

WASHINGTON, D.C.  – February 18, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) – U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) issued the following statement after President Barack Obama unveiled the Homeowner Affordability and Stability Plan:“Within twenty-four hours of signing landmark legislation to turn our economy around, President Obama made the housing crisis a White House priority. I applaud his leadership. The President is right that our nation must rally around working families who, through no fault of their own, are on the verge of losing their homes.  Foreclosures devastate families, hurt communities, and cause all home prices to drop.
