Vintage Real Estate, a division of Vintage Capital Group, LLC based in the Brentwood area of West Los Angeles has acquired the Hamilton Crossings Shopping Center located in the city of Hamilton, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The 210,000 square foot K-Mart anchored center is co-anchored by Marsh Supermarkets, a regional supermarket chain. The remainder of the center is approximately 80% vacant and will undergo an extensive remodel, which has already commenced. The center was built in 1987, but has been the subject of neglect.
“We are very excited about this project, the extensive remodel will significantly enhance the shopping centers appeal and drive national and local tenant demand”, said Brenton Watson, President of Vintage Real Estate.
Vintage focuses on acquiring under performing shopping centers, regional malls and other types of real estate. Vintage was founded by senior real estate executive Fred Sands and has recently added three former Westfield executives.
Brenton Watson, President of Vintage, indicated that the firm is now in due diligence on two regional malls.
