TIBERI CONGRATULATES MANSFIELD DIVISION OF POLICE FOR RECEIVING FEDERAL GRANT

WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 22, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Congressman Pat Tiberi (R-OH) today announced the U.S. Department of Justice has selected The Mansfield Division of Police to receive a Community Oriented Policing Services Hiring Program grant.

“While the grant is good news for the Mansfield Division of Police, all Mansfield residents will benefit,” said Congressman Tiberi. “New officers will help the department meet their goals of preserving life, protecting property, and reducing crime within the community.”

The $500,000 grant will help the Mansfield Division of police hire four career law enforcement officers. In all, $7.3 million in funding was awarded to law enforcement agencies in Ohio funding 58 officers.
