Ohio Auditor of State Releases Final Performance Audit Report for the Ohio Housing Finance Agency

COLUMBUS – September 21, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The Ohio Auditor of State (AOS) today released the final report of the Ohio Housing Finance Agency’s (OHFA) performance audit conducted by Foxx & Company on behalf of AOS in compliance with Senate Bill 4.

Senate Bill 4 requires all state agencies to regularly undergo reviews by the Auditor of State designed to improve their effectiveness and efficiency. OHFA joined the departments of Education, Jobs and Family Services and Transportation in the first group of state agencies receiving performance audits under the legislation which passed in 2011.

Foxx & Company’s final report details the results of the audit and recommendations to help improve the Agency’s management and administration of programs. A full copy of the performance audit is available on OHFA’s website at www.ohiohome.org.

The public comment period on the performance audit report will begin at 8 a.m. EST today and conclude at 5 p.m. EST, Oct. 5. Comments may be emailed to OHFA (at) ohiohome (dot) org or mailed to 57 E. Main St., Attention: Barbara Creech, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Mailed comments must be postmarked by Oct. 5. A compilation of all of the comments will be available on OHFA’s website on Oct. 11.
