COLUMBUS, OH – April 27, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Today Governor John R. Kasich announced the approval of assistance for nine projects set to create 480 jobs and retain 351 jobs statewide. During its monthly meeting, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to result in more than $21 million in new payroll, and spur nearly $111 million in investment across Ohio.
Total Quality Logistics, LLC (Location TBD) expects to create 70 full-time positions, generating $3.8 million in annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project at a to-be-determined location. Total Quality Logistics is a freight brokerage firm, specializing in arranging the transportation of full truckload shipments. The TCA approved a 40 percent, five-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Inno-Pak, LLC (Location TBD) expects to create 30 full-time positions, generating $1.3 million in additional annual payroll and retaining $2.3 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project at a to-be-determined location. Inno-Pak supplies stock and custom packaging for the grocery and food service industry. The TCA approved a 40 percent, five-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project. Linglong Americas Inc., (Location TBD) expects to create 20 full-time positions, generating $1.7 million in annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project at a to-be-determined location. Linglong Americas is a tire manufacturer. The TCA approved a 40 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
CENTRAL
BASF Corporation (Location TBD, Pickaway Co.) expects to create 48 full-time positions, generating $1.7 million in annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project at a to-be-determined location in Pickaway County. BASF is a chemical company with a portfolio ranging from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas industries. The TCA approved a 45 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
PRIME AE Group, Inc., City of Columbus (Delaware Co.) expects to create 59 full-time positions, generating $4.5 million in additional annual payroll and retaining $4.9 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s acquisition project in the City of Columbus (Delaware Co.). PRIME AE provides professional services in architecture, engineering, construction management and technology. The TCA approved a 55 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
NORTHWEST
K&M Tire, Inc., City of Delphos (Allen Co.) expects to create 25 full-time positions, generating $700,000 in additional annual payroll and retaining $5.3 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Delphos (Allen Co.). K&M Tire is a tire distributor, which operates 18 distribution centers throughout the Great Lakes, Midwest and Plains regions. The TCA approved a 35 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Nature Fresh Farms USA, Inc., Village of Delta (Fulton Co.) expects to create 153 full-time positions, generating $5.2 million in annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project in the Village of Delta (Fulton Co.). Nature Fresh Farms is a Canadian vegetable production company, growing all of its products in greenhouses. The TCA approved a 55 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
WESTERN
Pentaflex, Inc., City of Springfield (Clark Co.) expects to create 40 full-time positions, generating $1.3 million in additional annual payroll and retaining $4.9 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Springfield (Clark Co.). Pentaflex manufactures heavy gauge stampings for the heavy truck market. Products include brake spiders, axle brackets, exhaust system shells and brake components. The TCA approved a 45 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
SOUTHEAST
Speyside Bourbon Cooperage, Inc., City of Jackson (Jackson Co.) expects to create 35 full-time positions, generating $910,000 in annual payroll as a result of the company’s new project in the City of Jackson (Jackson Co.). Speyside Cooperage specializes in refurbishing used barrels for spirit-making, and this new facility will be the first to focus on barrel production for the company. The TCA approved a 40 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
