Coshocton Richard Downing Airport to Receive $141,000 in Federal Funding to Make Improvements at Airport

WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 14, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown today announced $141,000 in federal funding for Coshocton Richard Downing Airport to make improvements that will help increase efficiency and safety. The Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the funding.

“Support for community airports is key to the safety of travelers and the flow of commerce,” said Brown. “This award will give Coshocton County the resources to make needed improvements that will benefit those that rely on the local airport and its services.”

The $141,000 award will fund the rehabilitation of the south parallel taxiway.
