Sherrod Brown (D-OH) announced that the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) awarded a grant to the Guernsey County Port Authority to improve existing road infrastructure and reconstruct a multi-rail crossing at the front of the facility. ARC estimates that 116 jobs will be retained as a result of the work, with a potential for 60 new jobs to be created.
