Sen. Brown Announces $250,000 to Upgrade Water Infrastructure in Adams County

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced that the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has awarded $250,000 to the Adams County Commissioners to improve water service in Bratton Township and the Village of Seaman through construction of a new 75,000 gallon elevated water storage tank.

Brown Marks Completion of “Plant C” Redevelopment Project in Ashtabula

U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) visited Ashtabula today to mark the completion of the redevelopment project at the former First Energy C Plant, known as “Plant C.” Brown helped secure $1.55 million for redevelopment of the facility, which serves the water needs of Ashtabula’s industrial community and helps sustain more than 1,000 jobs.

Sherrod Brown (D-OH) today announced $3,500,000 in federal funding for a generator development project at SunPower Inc. in Athens. “The generators built at SunPower could serve as a model for energy efficiency efforts across the country,” said Brown. “This award is a testament to the strength of Ohio’s innovative power companies.”
