Stivers Statement on the Conference Report of Tax Cuts and Jobs Act

-

WASHINGTON, D.C. (December 19, 2017) – (RealEstateRama) — The following can be attributed to Congressman Steve Stivers (R-OH) regarding the Conference Report of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act:

“During the Conference process, I have fought for what I know is important to the families in the 15th District, like the graduate student tuition waiver for students at Ohio University and Ohio State, expanding the child tax credit for working parents, and continuing the historic tax credit for buildings on the national register, and the low income housing tax credit for those who want to invest in our community. I’m glad that they were all included in the final passage. We’re one step closer to a bill that will grow our economy and put money in the pockets of hardworking taxpayers.”
