Representative Fudge To Host Foreclosure Prevention Clinic

-

CLEVELAND, OH – November 13, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — Representative Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) will host a free foreclosure prevention clinic at the Cleveland Heights Community Center on November 17th. The clinic is the second in a series and will connect residents with housing counselors to discuss ways to prevent mortgage delinquency. Experts will also present workshops on foreclosure rights for renters as well as new HUD programs.

“If you have difficulty meeting your monthly mortgage payment or have questions about HUD programs then you must attend,” said Rep. Fudge. “However, this clinic is for renters too since renters may be adversely affected by foreclosure if the property owner is delinquent on payments. Renters have rights and we will have information about those rights available at the clinic.

“Helping my constituents save their homes is among my top priorities.  This foreclosure clinic is the second in a series aimed to keep families in their homes.”

For more information on the clinic, please call Daniel Fellenbaum at (216) 522-4900.
