Veterans Memorial and Museum to be completed by July 2018

WASHINGTON, D.C. –- (RealEstateRama) — On June 19, 2017, U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) took a hard-hat tour of the Veterans Memorial and Museum, which is under construction in Columbus, Ohio, with Congressmen Steve Stivers (OH-15). Earlier this year, Beatty, Stivers, and Tiberi reintroduced legislation to designate the Veterans Memorial and Museum as the “National Veterans Memorial & Museum,”
H.R. 1900. Following the tour, Beatty issued the following statement:

“I am thrilled to see the progress towards completion of this memorial to all those who served our nation. I cannot think of a more fitting tribute to our nation’s more than 22 million veterans than the Veterans Memorial and Museum, and I will continue fighting in the U.S. House of Representatives to pass legislation to give it the national designation it deserves. I applaud all those involved in designing and building this unique structure, which will serve as a permanent landmark to the selfless service of so many brave Americans and an educational site for students across Ohio and all of the United States.”
