Kasich Announces Appointment to Cleveland Municipal Court, Housing Division

COLUMBUS – (RealEstateRama) — Governor John R. Kasich announced the appointment of Ronald J. O’Leary of Cleveland (Cuyahoga Co.) to serve as a judge on the Cleveland Municipal Court, Housing Division. O’Leary will assume the bench on April 10, 2017, and must run in November 2017 to retain the seat for the remainder of the unexpired term, which ends January 1, 2020. O’Leary is replacing Judge Raymond L. Pianka, who passed away.

O’Leary received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University and his law degree from Case Western Reserve University. He is currently the Director of the Cleveland Department of Building and Housing and in the past has served as an adjunct professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He is a member of the Northeast Ohio Law Directors’ Association and the Cuyahoga County Vacant and Abandoned Property Action Council.
